Favorite part of living in Florida, little tiki bar/restaurants on the water. The less fancy the better. Squid Lips in Sebastian fits the bill.

Water and sand soothe my soul, I am always on the look out for places that cause my blood pressure to drop 20 mmHg the second I drive up. Take a walk up the plank to this open air restaurant/bar that is perched over the water and overlooks a small marina. The birds beg, the pelicans rest on tie up posts, listen to the water lap gently as you watch the fish swim by. If you are observant, you might see a baby heron and his parents. The breeze flows thru, if it rains the plastic windows come down. I always sit so I can see the water, I have a tropical cocktail and listen to the singer and his band. Living in Florida is like always being on vacation, especially when you discover a place called Squid Lips.
